What is My QOD? [Back]

My QOD is just for fun, you can log in and QOD will keep your score, YES you can cheat, but its only for you. You do not get any points, you can’t win anything. Its all just for the fun of it. You can create different profiles for yourself and post pictures to the page. If you create an account on QOD, you can not post PORN soft or hard. QOD is for the fun of the questions, not the porn pics.

I set up an account but I never seem to be logged in. [Back]

QOD uses COOKIES to know who you are, if you have cookies turned off in your browser, then you can not log into QOD. I started the log in process to limit the photo that were posted to the page, you still can post LINKS to the page without logging in.

Is there a Mailing List for the daily question? [Back]

YES, actually there are two mailing lists. If you go to the HOME you will see two mailing lists, one for STATUS only which I will only post when QOD is down, or has a problem. The other mailing list is used to send the question today, and give you the results of Yesterdays question. This list will mail out the daily question at 12:00 every morning.

What do I do if QOD is down? [Back]

QOD had some rough times early 2000. This was due to the move and the server dieing. Somebody set up a message group to discuss the question and why the heck was QOD down again. So if you can get to QOD you might try the message board. I will try my best to update this message board is QOD is down, with hardware, or link problems.

I submitted a question but made a mistake, how do I correct it? [Back]

Currently they only way to fix this is to e-mail me (Andy) with your changes. All I ask is that you PLEASE let me know what date you posted your question. There are hundreds of questions and I don’t want to have to search through each and every one of them to find your question. When you submit a question QOD will e-mail you the question back to you. As part of the subject line, it will give you the date you or the program picked for your question, Just forward that e-mail with you changes and I will do my best to correct them. NOTE: Once your question is posted I will NOT make changes to it. Since this is a GLOBAL site and the question is posted at midnight West Coast time, I don’t get up till 7:00 am, that is a good 7 hours the question has been posted. So its not fair to people who already answered the question.

How can I post a photo onto the page like others do? [Back]

To post a photo to the QOD answer page, you MUST be logged in. This is to limit the porn that is posted to my site, If an account posts porn to the site, they will get an e-mail warning, asking that they don’t do that. If the e-mail account is bounced back then the account, is locked out for a few days. If the account continues to post porn pic’s to the site, it will be locked out. Remember QOD is not about porn, its about a Question. There are enough free porn sites else where to get you fill.
The HTML to use would go something like this, but remember to use your own site

The question posted today has the wrong answer, so now my score is wrong, can you correct it? [Back]

No, QOD is about good and bad questions, and the score that is kept for you is just for the fun of it. I don’t have time to do my own work, let alone fix scores on QOD.
