In honor of "Draft Day", a football question. Who was the first known African American to play football professionally?

Explanation: All of the answers were early players. Charles Follis was the first in 1902 with the Shelby Athletic Club. In 1933 the NFL banned black athletes and Kenny Washington was the first post-ban African American player in 1946.
